Editor-at-Large and Political Editor
An early love for literature led Lauren to devour every historical fiction book she could find as a child. This childhood interest in history developed into a passion for politics; after finishing high school in Stuttgart, Germany, she completed her BA in international relations at Michigan State University. During her time at university, Lauren spent a summer studying in Brussels, Belgium, completed an internship in the Irish parliament, and worked in the Michigan Senate. After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC to work for a security conference organization for a year before returning to Ireland to earn her MA in international relations at University College Dublin.
In addition to researching and writing about politics and feminism, Lauren also enjoys befriending strangers’ dogs, being over-caffeinated, and collecting stamps in her passport. She lives in Dublin, Ireland with her husband.
